Terms of Service

1. What Clout Clock is
Clout Clock is a gamified clout leaderboard. Anyone can list a website — no permission needed — and compete to stay on top of the board. You don't buy traffic — you buy clout, the ranking points that push a listing up the leaderboard. We describe the service as a visibility and status leaderboard — not a traffic-purchasing service.
2. Clout
Clout is the platform's unit of rank and visibility. Listing a site grants a starting balance of 250 clout. Clout determines a listing's rank on the leaderboard. Clout is never reset, cannot be cashed out or sold. Clout drains by a fixed daily clock (-1 clout per day for approved listings) and is added by purchasing clout packs — clout is purchase-only. When a listing's clout reaches 0, it falls off the board until it is re-listed or a clout pack is applied. Clout is non-monetary and non-withdrawable. Clout is the only asset that affects rank. Sharing — a separate, free day of decay protection that never affects rank — is explained in our Rules.
3. Clicks and visits — genuine, human, opt-in
A click or visit occurs only when a real human visitor consciously chooses to open a listing. We do not guarantee any specific number of visitors, conversions, sales, or SEO benefit. Clout buys your position on the board; the value of a click is the genuine, opt-in attention of a community member — nothing more. In the Clout Clock model, clicks do not reduce clout; only the daily clock reduces clout. Prohibited: bots, click farms, automated scripts, incentivized fake traffic, or any attempt to artificially inflate metrics. Any such activity is grounds for immediate account termination and forfeiture of clout.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: use Clout Clock to send traffic to sites that violate third-party terms (e.g., ad networks like Google AdSense) or that engage in illegal activity; automate, script, or bot the click, share, or referral systems; misrepresent your site, its content, or its purpose; or use Clout Clock to manipulate analytics, ad metrics, or search rankings.
Anyone may submit a listing, but you are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit. Listings that are fake, misleading, or impersonate another site or business may be removed, and their clout forfeited.
5. Removing a listing
Requested by the owner. If you own or control a site that is listed on Clout Clock and want it removed, email support@cloutclock.com from the address associated with the listing, or include reasonable proof that you control the site (such as a text file or DNS record we specify). We verify requests before acting and aim to complete verified removals within 10 business days.
By us. We may also remove any listing that violates these Terms or our Rules. When a listing is removed — by owner request or enforcement — it disappears from the leaderboard and any unused purchased clout is forfeited unless a refund is required by law. Removal does not reserve the domain: someone else may list it later under the standard rules.
6. License to display your listing
You keep ownership of your site name, logo, trademarks, and content. By submitting a listing, you grant Clout Clock a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, reproduce, and distribute the listing content (name, URL, logo, tagline, category, and screenshot) solely to operate and promote the leaderboard. You represent that you have the right to grant this license and that your listing does not infringe any third-party rights.
7. Affiliate Program
Clout Clock offers an affiliate program where affiliates earn a 20% commission on clout purchases made by users they referred. Attribution lasts 999 days from the date the referred user joins. Single-tier only; there are no sub-affiliate or multi-level commissions. Affiliates must not use spam, deceptive advertising, fake reviews, or misleading claims to promote Clout Clock, and must disclose their affiliate relationship (e.g., with #ad or "affiliate link"). We are accountable for affiliate behavior and will terminate affiliates who violate this.
8. No guarantees
We do not guarantee traffic volume, conversion rates, sales, or search-engine ranking improvements. The service provides community-driven discovery and attention. Results vary and depend on the quality of your listing and the community's interest.
9. Refunds
Clout packs are digital, instantly delivered products. Purchased clout is generally non-refundable except where required by law or in the specific cases described in our Rules: duplicate charges and non-delivery are refundable; no refund is issued for unused clout or recent purchases if a listing or account is terminated or suspended for a violation. Because clout is consumed by the daily clock and has no cash value, there is no "unused balance" to refund under normal circumstances.
To request a refund, email support@cloutclock.com within 14 days of purchase with the purchase email, the date of purchase, and the reason. We aim to respond within 5 business days; approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
10. Limitation of liability
Clout Clock is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost revenue or lost opportunities from using the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) US $50. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, such as fraud, gross negligence, or statutory consumer rights.
11. Dispute resolution
Talk first. If you have a dispute with Clout Clock, email support@cloutclock.com with a clear description of the problem. We will try to resolve it informally within 30 days.
Small claims court. Either you or Clout Clock may bring an individual claim in small claims court if the claim qualifies.
No class actions. To the extent permitted by law, any dispute must be brought in your individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class action.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including bot use, fraud, or deceptive promotion. You can appeal any enforcement action by contacting support@cloutclock.com.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. If we make a material change, we will post a notice and, if you have an account, email you at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
